Great stuff from Robert X. Cringely on PBS about the recent Sun/Microsoft settlement and why he feels that Sun is the big loser in this transaction.
Cringely states:
“[W]hat Sun has actually obtained from Microsoft (beyond the money, of course) is less than nothing. It is an illusion of interoperability that will only hurt them in the long run.”
