Do you ever feel like paying taxes is like flushing your money down the toilet? Than here’s a site for you. Many people will find IRS Online (http://www.irs.com/) as I did – by entering “IRS” just to see if there is a site there. IRS Online is not in the tax business, but they might be next year. Their main focus is home electronics, security, kitchen, lawn and garden, lighting, and bathroom products. But kudos to them for realizing the power of the irs.com domain name and providing links to useful sites. Site that, by the way, I didn’t find in my “regular” research. Links are included for tax forms (http://www.24hourtax.com/), electronic filing (http://www.e1040.com/), official state tax sites (http://www.irs.com/state_taxes.htm), tax books (http://www.irs.com/tax_books.htm) with links to Amazon.Com (of course), and tax FAQs (http://www.irs.com/faqs.htm). I found the list of state tax site particularly helpful, since I recently moved to a new state. Overall, a very helpful site, no doubt created by accident, from a company who may be in the tax business full-time next year!
