Google has made it easier to find out information about individuals and companies via its new PhoneBook feature (http://www.google.com/help/features.html). Enter a phone number into Google, and, if a match is found, a phone icon will be displayed along with the name of the individual or company and a link to a map for the street address. Although this information has been available on the web for quite some time, Google makes finding this information much easier. Those with privacy concerns can request to be removed from Google’s database (http://www.google.com/help/pbremoval.html). Also, it appears that you will soon be able to call 411 to find wireless phone numbers (http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/biztech/03/19/wireless.show.ap/index.html).
