* Clocktower Welcomes Summer Intern Mark Magyar

This Is Our “17 Seconds” Newsletter #134: 17 Seconds = Useful Info Quickly.

Clocktower is pleased to welcome Acton’s own Mark Magyar as an intern this summer. Mark is working on several interesting projects, which we hope to blog about later this summer. Although Mark was born after Clocktower was founded, he is helping to push Clocktower in new and exciting directions, including those powered by the ever-present Artificial Intelligence (AI) boom.

Here is Mark’s bio, written by Mark, and unedited by this blog’s editor.

Mark Magyar grew up and lives in Acton, Massachusetts. Mark is currently attending the University of Rochester, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Political Science. At the University of Rochester, Mark competes collegiately on the Track and Field team at the D3 level. He specializes in sprinting/hurdling, competing in the 60m hurdles, 110m hurdles, and 400m hurdles. After the University of Rochester, Mark plans on attending law school to become an antitrust lawyer specializing in competition law. His internship at Clocktower serves as his first real opportunity to take what he has learned in university and apply it to his career. Outside the work environment, Mark enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and staying active by training for track.

Please join all of us in welcoming Mark to Clocktower!
