Software consulting.
I have known Dave Baker (of Echo Engineering) since 1994. His company provides, among other things, contract and consulting work on the design, development, and testing of protocols, networking hardware and software, and UNIX and Linux systems software. If I have a question about Linux or Macintosh OS X, then I can be pretty sure that Dave has the answer.
