Make no doubt about it, this site is great.

Arent Fox Kintner Plotkin & Kahn (http://www.arentfox.com/). With an 84K graphic on their home page, I hope their clients are all on T-1s. Simply by reducing the number of colors to 64, the image can be reduced to 57K. With 32 colors, the image is only 40K. The graphic, which is gorgeous, also uses the older server-side imagemap technology. Humongous graphics notwithstanding, this site has terrific content. The “Features of the Month” section can fairly be called an online community. Complete with articles, links to related info, and threaded discussion groups, the Features focus on certain areas of law, legislation, or legal issue. When we reviewed the site, the Feature was contests and sweepstakes law. They’ve got newsletters that you can read online or receive via e-mail. Plus a tour, powered by JavaScript, of some of the firm’s clients’ sites. Very cool. Make no doubt about it, this site is great. They’ll soon need a separate page for all of their awards, because they’re on the verge of looking like a Russian Army general with all those award on the home page!
